The Gollmann Robot

Switzerland's largest pharmacy order picking system has found its new home in the basement of the GreenCube: our robot. With this order picking system, the Hotz Pharmacy and Drugstore achieves maximum storage space in a minimum footprint. The order picking system uses rolling cabinet technology. The individual shelves are moved on rails, thus collapsing into one another to save space. Automated storage also allows for efficient use of time.

Using various lifts and conveyor systems, requested products are then transported directly to the individual dispensing points at the checkout. The 24-hour pick-up station can also retrieve products from the robot and drop them off directly, even when the pharmacy is closed.
